Richard Happer has been wandering the hills and dales since he was a toddler himself. The only thing he loves more than going for a great big walk in the countryside is going for a great big walk in the countryside with his family. When he gets back he works as a freelance writer, contributing to many walking and outdoors books. He is also the author of cult hillwalking novel The Hills are Stuffed with Swedish Girls.
He lives in Edinburgh with his wife Rachel and son Harry.
